Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is a survival horror. A slight depature from the previous games in the series, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is set in a child’s bedroom instead of the more usual pizzeria setting. It still follows the usual formula where the player has to survive through 5 increasing nights without being attached by the roaming animatronic creatures. The player can shoo creatures away with the flashlight or hold the doors closed to prevent them from entering the bedroom. But if they get too close, the player can expect a jump scare.
